Turnpike Mitigation Project

About the Project
This project is being funded from a grant obtained through the newly created program by the Ohio Turnpike Commission. It allows local communities to apply for infrastructure improvements that necessitated from direct impacts from the Ohio Turnpike. The work for this Jackson Township project consists of the following:
  • Resurfacing Mahoning Avenue from the Meander Reservoir to the Turnpike interchange
  • Resurfacing Lipkey Road from Mahoning Avenue to the Trumbull County line
  • Making various shoulder, roadside ditch improvements along Lipkey Road
  • Replacing culverts and guardrail on Lipkey Road
This project is expected to be constructed in the Summer, 2015.
